Anyui River Petroglyphs

Petroglyphs on stone outcrops in the Anyui valley, an Amur tributary in the krai's south — archaeological heritage in dense taiga with almost no tourist infrastructure. Seasonal partly dirt roads; after rain fords and ruts slow travel. A local guide makes finding outcrops and safe approaches much easier. Combine with Lazo district routes — not a museum under a roof but a monument in working taiga under conservation rules. Do not touch stone, light fires at panels or leave marks — carvings are fragile. Photography without flash is preferred. Plan a day or more from Lazo on dirt roads. Torch, water, repellent and respect for hunting camps in the valley are essential.
