Rock-art panels along the Bely Iyus River between forest and cliff outcrops.
Bely Iyus Rock Art
The Bely Iyus basin holds many petroglyphs beyond Kazanovka museum — panels on slopes and water's edge, some visible only by boat or opposite-bank trail. Multi-era art; weathering and human damage — do not touch stone or leave marks. Forest hike; midges in summer; hunting season in autumn; snow in winter — for prepared travellers, not a quick roadside stop. Combine with Askiz and Abakan-Tash on a southwest archaeology block. Maps and Kazanovka museum contact help find protected panels.
