Bolshoye Polye Memorial (Navlinsky District)

The Bolshoye Polye memorial stands in Navlinsky District, Bryansk Oblast — where partisan detachments and field airstrips operated in WWII. Bryansk was one of the largest partisan centres behind enemy lines. The district is known for landing strips used to deliver supplies and evacuate wounded; among them airstrips near Vzdrudnoye and Saltanovka settlements. Bolshoye Polye memorial generalizes memory of these events. The complex includes a stele, commemorative plaques and a landscaped area.
