Cape Crillon
Cape Crillon is Sakhalin's southernmost point — west rim of Aniva Bay and east side of La Perouse Strait. Rocky, cliffy, partly forested shore. Japanese-period relics remain — fortifications, roads, monuments; some decayed. Views over the strait and distant hills in clear weather. A geography anchor, not a developed viewpoint. Long drive from Korsakov or Kurilsk, partly unpaved; often combined with Aniva Lighthouse and Moneron.
How to get there
By car from Korsakov or Kurilsk south on Crillon Peninsula; partly dirt road.

July–September in dry weather
