Lake Dyupkun
Lake Dyupkun is a 199 km² through-flow tectonic sheet on Putorana’s south-west margin at 68°12′28″N 92°46′14″E. Length 90–125 km by source, ~2.5 km wide at 109 m; Kureika River runs through. Eastern section holds waterfalls including Talnikovy on the south shore. On the Evenkiysky–Taimyr Dolgano-Nenets border; expedition access only. Snow and rain fed; no signal on most shores. Plateau “inland sea”, not a day trip from Krasnoyarsk. Routes via reserve and operators; do not walk ice without local knowledge of cracks and Kureika currents.
How to get there
Putorana Plateau south-west. Base Tura or charter; then operator programme.

July–August on organised expedition
