Historic centre with XVIII–XIX wooden and stone buildings, Spassky Monastery, port embankment. On UNESCO tentative list as a monument town. Reach via federal road through Lesosibirsk (~335 km from Krasnoyarsk) or river transport. Not Krasnoyarsk-Stolby but a separate “museum town” at slow pace. Walk the centre; avoid shooting private yards; museums and Spassky Monastery are main stops. Summer midges by the water; winter Siberian cold — architecture readable year-round.
