Guslitsa Creative Estate
In Ilyinsky Pogost, Orekhovo-Zuyevo district, at Mitrokhinskaya 8, Guslitsa Creative Estate runs as a cultural centre and independent art residence inside a reconstructed nineteenth-century factory building. Per the project’s own materials (art-guslitsa.ru) it hosts workshops, exhibitions, education, events and guest stays — not a classic noble manor, but a post-industrial cultural hub. The red-brick volume with arched ceilings and a cast-iron stair is worth an architectural walk on its own; around it lies the Guslitsa countryside with Old Believer history and quiet forest landscapes. Founders Irina Nikolaeva and Mikhail Humm shape the programme; entry depends on the calendar and private-ground rules. Always check the schedule and entry rules before you travel: an ordinary day may be quiet; a festival day may be packed. Room and tour booking — via contacts on the official site.
