Lake Kapka
Lake Kapka lies in Kapelnitsa village, Zheleznovodsk urban district, at about 490 m. The State Water Register gives 0.06×0.04 km, salinity ~1.4 g/l, sulphate-calcium type. Cold springs feed the lake; surrounding cliffs drip constantly — the name means “drip”. Depth is under 3 m with a silty bottom. Big and Lower lakes stand nearby; a Dzhemukha tributary flows from them and Kapka. Batulin/Kapelnitsa Cave in the south cliff is a regional nature monument. Together they form the Batulin eco-park — off the main Caucasian Mineral Waters promenades. Kapka introduces foothill travertine karst, not city-park swimming. Respect private gardens downstream.
