Auglitten Church

In Progress, Pravdinsk district, the walls of the Gothic Auglitten church survive — one of the most ruined churches in the oblast. Built around 1450, it served the Lutheran community of former Auglitten until 1945. Today only crumbling walls remain without a roof; the site is quiet and almost empty. The ruins stand in the village centre, visible from afar by the east gable. Nearby, on the castle hill in Kurortnoye, are the gate-tower ruins of Gross Vonsdorf Castle — both sites fit one trip from Pravdinsk.
