A thermal spring in Komarovsky Sanctuary on the east coast — a forest pool without spa buildings.
Komarovsky Hot Spring
Komarovsky spring lies in Komarovsky State Sanctuary on the east coast, far from Paratunka spas. Water emerges in small basins among larch forest. Seasonal partly dirt road; last section on foot. No concrete pools — natural baths and steam over cool air. The sanctuary protects elk, bears and rare plants; rules ban fires outside designated spots and plant picking. Popular with locals, rarely in tour brochures. Komarovsky suits visitors who know city thermal pools and want forest bathing on the east coast. Combine with Zhupanovsky volcano or bay fishing spots.
How to get there
