Lebyazhye Lake
Lebyazhye Lake lies in Dolinsky district north of Dolinsk on the highway toward Makarov and Okha. Surface area shifts with tides — ~7.8 km² at high tide, less at low. Saline lagoon linked to the sea near the Naiba estuary. Waterfowl including whooper and Bewick's swans rest and nest. Sulfide mud on shores; locals and travellers come for bathing and fishing in summer. Visible from the road after Starodubskoye village. A nature stop on the long east-coast drive — birds and tidal dynamics, not Dolinsk museums.
How to get there
Car or Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk–Okha bus; stop at the lake after Starodubskoye.
