Lyubytino Rural Church

Lyubytino is the district centre on the Msta between Borovichi and Okulovka. A small settlement: streets, school, shops and a stone church visible from afar over fields. Village churches here were built in the 19th–early 20th century with parish funds; modest architecture without baroque parade but typical regional brickwork and bell tower. Status may vary — active or closed; the building still defines the skyline. Fields, meadows and forest surround the town; the Msta flows nearby without a promenade. Not an open-air museum but a living village where the church is part of daily scenery. Visit en route through the Msta valley or northern forests. 30–40 minutes: walk around the church, photos with respect for parish and cemetery.
