Nikolo-Tyablovsky Monastery

Nikolo-Tyablovsky Monastery stands in Yakovlevsky District near Tyablovo village on the left bank of the Vorskla. It began as a rural community with a house church of St Nicholas and grew into a district monastic complex. The stone church with bell tower and cell blocks is typical of Belgorod monastic architecture from the late 18th to early 19th century. White walls contrast with meadow landscapes of the Vorskla–Psel interfluve. The monastery survived Soviet closure; some buildings served farm needs. Services and restoration continue; the fence, cemetery and foundations of destroyed structures remain. Tyablovo is a quiet village with little tourist infrastructure — eat in district centre Yakovlevo (~15 km) or bring food. A rare steppe monastery image by a major river for the oblast. Combine with Yakovlevo fortress hill and the Vorskla valley — all linked to the Belgorod defensive line history.
