Novokiyevsky Uval

Novokiyevsky Uval is a geological natural monument near Novy Kiyevsky settlement in the southeast. An elongated ridge where steppe meets ribbon pine forest and views open wide. Valued for panoramas without high mountains — the road climbs and horizons stretch for tens of kilometres. Summer grass in wind; spring greens before northern taiga. No official tourist centre — roadside stop, short ridge walk, photos, back to the car. Respect pasture and no fires on dry grass. From Arkhara or Belogorsk on regional roads; final kilometres may be gravel. Water and sun protection — little shade. Include in steppe routes with Poyarkovo and Ekaterinoslavka — a viewpoint without museums or city noise.
