I. M. Poddubny Memorial Museum
The Ivan Maksimovich Poddubny Memorial Museum is a branch of the Yeysk Samsonov Local-History Museum. Opened for the wrestler’s centenary (1971), it stands in Poddubny Park in Yeysk (from Karl Marx / Pervomayskaya 189/3). Displays include personal items, training gear, posters, photos and documents — about two hundred pieces in museum notes. Poddubny (1871–1949) was a professional wrestler, Merited Master of Sport of the USSR and Merited Artist of the RSFSR; he spent his later years in Yeysk. The museum is small but rare for sports history on the Azov coast. Confirm hours and tickets with the Yeysk museum and park site. Paired with the Samsonov museum and Dolgaya Spit it makes a full Azov day away from Black Sea resort noise.
