Svetlitsa Chapel (Talashkino)

Svetlitsa chapel stands in Talashkino, Smolensky District — part of Princess Tenisheva's early-20th-century cultural project. Neo-Russian Art Nouveau: carved portals, ceramics, painted details. Murals and decorative finishes survive or were partly restored; smaller than Flenovo church but equally expressive. Check access — services and exhibitions possible. Second point of the 'Talashkino triangle' with Tenisheva estate and Korovin church in Flenovo — all within a few kilometres. Walk or drive between sites; allow half a day for the cluster. Talashkino ~25 km from Smolensk toward Roslavl; parking may be limited on event days. Modest dress if entering. Do not touch fragile decor.
