Church Ruins in Tenki

Tenki in Yuryev-Polsky District — a 400-year settlement gone by the late 20th century. What remains: cemetery, overgrown road embankments and church ruins — bell base, refectory arch and narthex fragments. Most walls were dismantled; you view archaeology of memory rather than a building. Approach from R74 on dirt tracks; a shorter route exists from Yuryev-Polsky via Kraski. Often visited with Volstvinovo in one “field” cluster. Summer grass hides outlines; autumn reveals ruins better. Respect the cemetery; do not litter. Many collapses — avoid loose brick.
