Terney Coast

Terney lies on the east slope of Sikhote-Alin on the Sea of Japan. One of the most remote settled coast points from Vladivostok; the long drive is the gateway to mountain and shore routes. The shore mixes rocky sections and sand; bays shift from stormy winter seas to calmer summer surf. Fishing boats and small piers reflect an economy of sea and forest, not mass tourism. Infrastructure is modest — lodges serve anglers, hunters, and backpackers. No city entertainment, but fewer crowds and wide sea horizons. Include Terney if your goal is the range's east slope, nature observation, or several quiet days by the sea away from southern resort bustle.
