Tikhoye Lake

Near Svetlogorsk, in the green belt of the coastal resort, lies Tikhoye Lake — former Müllentaych, a "quiet" leisure centre before Rauschen became a seaside resort. After castles and church ruins, the rhythm changes here: water, pines and walking paths. The lake fits into Svetlogorsk's urban setting — a convenient nature stop between the beach and historic routes. The scale is smaller than Vishtynetskoye, but access is easier: no separate trip deep into the oblast. May to September is best, when resort infrastructure is active and weather is steadier. The route to the shore depends on the entry point — check maps in advance. A good place to rest from stone masonry: a short walk by the water between heavier historic stops.
