Rocky ridge in the oblast's northwest — viewpoints over taiga without alpine trekking.
Tukuringra Ridge
Tukuringra Ridge rises as cliffs above taiga in northwestern Amur — rare oblast-scale views without high mountains. Usually reached by forest roads with short climbs to outcrops — not an official park, a roadside stop. Dense taiga mosquitoes in summer; winter roads harder — ridge wind even on sunny days. Combine with Zeya or Tynda routes as a pause between long northern drives. For photos and quiet without infrastructure — forest, wind and horizon only.
How to get there
Forest roads from Tynda and Zeya toward the ridge foothills.
Best season
July–August for short climbs
