Unecha Railway Museum

Since 1929 Unecha has been a major rail junction of Bryansk–Gomel and Bryansk–Valuyki lines. The town grew around the station; city status from 1940. Unecha Local History Museum at 14 Oktyabrskaya holds that story. Exhibits include locomotive models, lineman's lamps, electronic staff exchanger, milestone and photos of the first train arrival. One hall covers founding of Unecha station. A Class L steam locomotive monument stands by the depot — symbol of post-war rebuild when town and station were destroyed. The museum complements but does not replace viewing station and depot from outside. Open daily except Monday; holdings exceed nine thousand items. Not a narrow transport museum but local history with a strong railway section. Include Unecha in Klintsy–Novozybkov–Zlynka — towns shaped by one western Bryansk main line.
