Verkhnedneprovsky Monastery
Verkhnedneprovsky Monastery near Dorogobuzh on the Dnieper's right bank. Founded in the 14th–15th centuries; rebuilt after wars. Stone churches, residential blocks and wall fragments survive. High-bank panorama over river, floodplain and wooded opposite shore. Active or restoring; modest dress and silence rules apply. Combine with Dorogobuzh and Rudnya — three middle-Dnieper stops in one day. ~10–15 km from Dorogobuzh; last stretch may be narrow. Repellent by the water in summer. Do not disturb services and pilgrims.
