Zolotets White Sea Petroglyphs

Zolotets cape on the White Sea shore holds petroglyphs — carved hunting scenes, boats and symbols from ancient coastal cultures. The site is protected heritage. Reach from Belomorsk or by boat in navigation season; part of the route is on foot along rocky shore. Guided visits are common — rules ban trampling and touching panels. Exposed shore with constant sea wind. Good tread and wind shell; wet rock is slippery. Combine with a White Sea coast route through Karelia and Arkhangelsk Oblast — allow a full day. No flash photography; do not step on carved panels — use marked paths only.
