Description
A multi-day Arctic off-road journey across the Sredny and Rybachy peninsulas. The route combines rocky coast, Second World War fortifications, abandoned military settlements and the long road to Vayda-Guba on the Arctic Ocean. Rybachy has a milder maritime climate than much of Murmansk Oblast, but the terrain remains remote and demanding. Travel with a capable vehicle, allow time for weather and road changes, and check current border-area rules before departure.
